Based on the letters that the farmers receive, they choose 10 potential life partners that they would like to get to know better on the program.
There is no prize money or wedding to be won on Boer Soek 'n Vrou. The program only creates an opportunity for farmers to meet other singles from which possible friendships or romance can arise.
